Australian law firm Addisons has advised Bega Cheese Limited on its recent acquisition of the Betta Milk and Meander Valley Dairy brands and related assets from TasFoods Limited and Van Diemen’s Land Dairy Pty Ltd.
In line with Bega’s announced strategy, the acquisition of these household brands in Tasmania has created the opportunity for Bega Cheese to grow and expand regional brands. Bega will also gain better efficiencies and increased scale in Tasmania because of the transaction.
