Addisons boosts seed fundraising for MicroTau IP

Law firm Addisons has advised MicroTau IP Pty Ltd on its $5.62 million seed fundraising.

The fundraising will enable MicroTau to accelerate the development of its technology. The lead investor in the fundraising was the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC).

MicroTau fabricates microscopic patterns inspired by nature to reduce drag and to produce other beneficial properties for applications in industries such as aerospace, shipping and healthcare.

The Addisons team advising MicroTau was led by Addisons Managing Partner, Kieren Parker, and supported by Senior Associate, Rebecca Dooley and Solicitor, Max Jamieson.
