Law firm Addisons has advised Sicona Battery Technologies Pty Ltd (Sicona) on its AU$22 million Series A funding round, led by Himadri Speciality Chemical Limited, one of Indian’s leading speciality chemical conglomerates.
Sicona develops next generation battery materials technology used in the anodes of lithium-ion batteries that enable electric-mobility and storage of renewable energy. Sicona is commercialising an innovative silicon-composite battery anode technology and selling into the fast growing global battery market through a focused partnership approach.
The Addisons team advising Sicona was led by Managing Partner, Kieren Parker and supported by Senior Associate, Rebecca Dooley.
