Natalie advises private and public sector clients particularly in relation to landmark major projects on a range of planning and environment issues including biodiversity, heritage, urban design, contamination, planning agreements and development contributions.
Natalie has particular experience in obtaining planning approvals for SSD, SSI, Part 4 and Part 5 applications including via the Land and Environment Court.
Natalie often acts for clients in Class 1 (planning appeals), Class 3 (compulsory acquisition and valuation) and Class 4 (judicial review and civil enforcement) litigation in the Land and Environment Court. Natalie advises multi-national companies in relation to environment protection licences, contamination, environmental compliance, waste regulation, pollution incidents and responding to regulatory action. Natalie also advises clients on valuation and compulsory acquisition compensation claims.

acted for Lendlease in judicial review proceedings in the Land and Environment Court brought by a public interest group challenging the rezoning of its Mt Gilead (now called Figtree Hill) site for residential uses.

acted for Lendlease Communities in obtaining development consent for over 700 residential lots in Bingara Gorge.
advised Mirvac in relation to the approval of the State Significant Development Application for the redevelopment of the Australian Technology Park including commercial office, retail, community uses and public domain works.
advised Mirvac regarding the development application for the mixed used redevelopment of the Marrickville Hospital site particularly in relation to clause 4.6 variations, the delivery agreement and development contributions.
