Jamie’s advice to international gambling operators setting up business in Australia extends to preparation of prospectuses and requirements of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. He works closely with these clients in developing their Australian business strategies, particularly in connection with the use of new technologies.

Dabble — provided gambling regulatory advice to Dabble in connection with its capital raising and shareholder sale facility, which included an investment by Tabcorp of $33million.

Decathlon Australia — assisting in the establishment of operations in Australia.

Everi Technologies — advised NYSE-listed Everi Holdings, Inc. Everi on the $33 million acquisition of the shares in the eCash Group, being a payment systems and cash management technology provider, and certain assets (including game development technology and intellectual property) of the Atlas Group, being a developer and provider of proprietary gaming content and products. This advice included filing applications in various Australian States and Territories for gaming machine supplier licences, as well as general regulatory advice.

Konami Gaming — assisted in connection with supply of casino management system to Australian and overseas casinos.

PlayAGS — advised on seeking gaming machines licence in New South Wales.

Starwood Capital Group — provided gambling regulatory advice to Starwood, and other lenders, in connection with the financing of Blackstone’s AUD$8.9 billion acquisition of Crown Resorts Limited.
