With a career that has spanned commercial law, corporate finance and investment banking, Geri combines an understanding of the financial, commercial and legal considerations that drive transaction decisions. She strives to be a contributor to the growth of a client’s business.
Geri’s legal expertise is principally in corporate and commercial law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings and private equity. Whilst these disciplines are relevant across industries, she has a particular interest and network in the technology, non-bank lending and resource sectors.
Investment — advised an IT group with regard to the introduction of a strategic investor and the restructuring of existing shareholder relationships
Joint venture — advised a recruitment business on the structuring of a recruitment joint venture
Investment — advised an on-line retailer and wholesaler on a capital raising and structuring of its shareholder relationships
Takeover — advised an investment company on the takeover of an Australian exploration company
