Angelika is an experienced corporate lawyer, holding dual qualifications in German and Australian law. She is uniquely equipped to provide integrated legal advice to Australian subsidiaries of European multinational groups operating in Australia. She is able to combine Australian and European perspectives to provide multinational clients with a clear understanding of the legal and commercial implications of their cross-border activities.

Angelika’s experience spans more than 20 years practising at leading firms in Australia, Germany and the UK, including Andersen Legal in Sydney, Pinsent Masons in London and Luther in Germany.

Angelika specialises in cross-border transactions, with a strong focus on European investments into the Asia Pacific region and Australian investments into Europe. She also regularly advises domestic and international clients on corporate and commercial matters in relation to their Australian operations, including preparing and negotiating commercial contracts and advising on corporate compliance matters.

Agricultural Group — advised an agricultural and industrial group headquartered in Singapore on its acquisition of a primary production and food processing business in Australia. This transaction was structured in several phases, including share and asset acquisitions of various farm properties and a large abattoir and food processing plant.

Dreamlines Australia Pty Ltd — advised an online travel agency and subsidiary of a German-based multinational group, on various aspects of Australian corporate and commercial law.

Global Investment Bank — provided advice on issues arising under Australian takeover laws, involving complex trust structures in various jurisdictions.

Jenoptik AG — advised a German based multinational integrated photonics group listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, on the acquisition of its Australian distributor in its traffic solutions division and subsequent tenders for government contracts in NSW and Victoria.

Tyroola Pty Ltd — assisted Tyroola, Australia’s third-largest online tyre and fitting service provider, with its integration into The Michelin group.

Tyroola Pty Ltd — advised the founders of Tyroola Pty Ltd, an online tyre retail business, on all aspects of setting up operations in Australia and on raising venture capital funds.
