The Legal 500 Asia Pacific recently published its 2024 rankings of leading law firms and lawyers.

Addisons’ Environment & Planning and Intellectual Property practices are ranked amongst the top law firms in Australia. The Addisons Media & Entertainment practice was also mentioned amongst the ‘Firms to Watch’.

In Sydney, the environment and planning department at Addisons is particularly experienced in advising on urban development project approvals, acting for a number of public sector clients. Practice co-head Penny Murray frequently advises landowners on compensation claims for government resumptions of land, while co-head Harshane Kahagalle is proficient in securing development approvals. Lee Cone is particularly adept at advising on commercial, mixed use and residential developments.
