Addisons has an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor (ideally with 3-4 years’ experience) to join our highly successful corporate team. This is a fantastic hands-on role for a committed individual looking to grow and expand their legal knowledge.
This role is a great fit for a mid-level lawyer eager to engage more intimately with long-standing, high-calibre clients. You’ll be teaming up with a respected partner working on a range of transactions, including private share and asset deals, private equity and venture capital work, public M&A, funding through debt and equity, capital markets transactions, commercial negotiations, and corporate governance matters.

- Drafting and negotiating transaction and other commercial documents
- Advising on key matters relating to corporate M&A
- Advising on Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules and Foreign Acquisitions and Takeovers Act issues
- Legislation and case law research
- Supporting and working collegiately with senior lawyers in the team to deliver outcomes
- General commercial work
- An Australian qualified lawyer with at least 3 years post-qualification experience in in a leading corporate M&A practice or equivalent
- An excellent academic record, coupled with strong legal skills and a practical mindset
- Strong technical, drafting and commercial skills
- Great client and commercial stakeholder and relationship management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An ability to work collaboratively and independently when necessary
- High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
