Addisons is looking for a skilled Project Coordinator/Manager for a fixed-term contract to lead several projects aimed at facilitating the implementation of essential transformation initiatives.
You will play a vital role in organising, tracking, and driving projects to successful completion while collaborating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Your primary project will be to prepare for the implementation of Tranche 2 AML/CTF reforms, ensuring the firm’s compliance with Australia’s AML/CTF regulations and alignment with AUSTRAC expectations. In addition to this core project, you may also contribute to other initiatives related to business operations, technology integration and process improvement, including enhancements to platforms such as Aderant, billing systems, and the exploration of emerging technologies such as AI.

- Support project delivery by organising, assigning, and tracking key tasks and milestones to ensure timely progress.
- Assist with the day-to-day coordination and tracking of project activities.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports including organising meetings, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
- Work closely with subject matter experts, vendors, and internal teams to monitor project status, identify risks, and escalate issues promptly
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment, engagement, and successful collaboration throughout project lifecycles.
- Regularly monitor, report, and communicate project progress and outcomes to key stakeholders.
- Oversee system testing, user acceptance testing, and the smooth rollout of new processes or platforms.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring delivery quality, integration success, and optimal system performance.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project outcomes, capture lessons learned and recommend improvements.
- Deliver firmwide training and awareness programs for partners, lawyers, and support staff to maximise adoption and understanding of new systems and processes.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external project-related enquiries.
- Support the General Manager and contribute to operational and continuous improvement initiatives.
- 2–5 years of experience in project coordination or management
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Extensive experience in project planning, administration and coordination.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the firm.
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage competing deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of legal processes, practice management systems, and emerging legal technologies.
