Addisons is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to provide exceptional administrative and secretarial support to our partner Laura Hartley and her team in the Corporate practice. In this role, you will be a vital part of the team, ensuring that our partners and lawyers can focus on high-level priorities while you manage day-to-day operations efficiently.

This is a permanent full-time position, offering the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week after an initial period.
- Administrative support – provide high-level administrative support to the corporate team, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings and conferences, and arranging travel plans as required
- Document management and word processing – prepare and amend legal documents and prepare presentations to clients, ensuring proper filing and maintenance of client files and records, both electronic and physical
- Financial & matter management – opening and closing electronic files, preparing bills, loading and managing invoices via e-billing databases and preparing reports as required by clients
- Expense management – track and submit expense reports and reconcile credit card statements
- Communication management – respond to incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence; draft and prepare correspondence and reports as required
- General office administration – organising files, printing and photocopying, streamlining administrative processes, ensuring the corporate team has everything needed to operate effectively
- A minimum of five years’ experience as a legal secretary, personal assistant, or in a comparable role within a corporate setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and professionalism
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with any legal software. Experience in iManage is highly regarded but not essential
- A solid understanding of the monthly billing cycle within a legal environment. Experience with Aderant is highly desirable
- The ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines, demonstrating excellent organisational and time management skills
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic environment
- The ability to manage confidential information with discretion and the utmost care
