Addisons’ Insolvency & Restructuring team understands the significant personal, professional and legal pressures facing businesses in financial distress. We work with each client to develop a strategic path forward based on their objectives and risk appetite.
Our lawyers are experienced and trusted advisors in complex restructuring and insolvency matters. We regularly advise boards and financially distressed companies, insolvency practitioners (in their capacities as voluntary administrators, liquidators and receivers), lenders and borrowers, secured and unsecured creditors.
Clients needing our insolvency and restructuring services value our expertise in this highly technical space, to understand their individual situation, to clearly explain options and guide them through each critical stage of a matter.
The team has acted and advised on numerous corporate insolvencies (administrations, liquidations and receiverships), as well as personal insolvencies (bankruptcies and Part X arrangements). The team also regularly acts in relation to informal appointments and workouts, particularly in the SME space. Across this spectrum, the team also deals regularly with the relevant regulators (ASIC and AFSA).
