Addisons is seeking a motivated Solicitor with 2–3 PQE with a keen interest in construction law to join our Construction & Infrastructure team.
We are looking for someone eager to grow and establish themselves as a future specialist in construction law, both for clients and within the firm. You will join a collaborative, experienced, and supportive team, working predominantly on back-end litigation and dispute resolution. Our matters span a range of industries, including major commercial, industrial property, and energy development projects across Australia. You will work closely with partners and clients on major projects, mentor junior lawyers, and contribute to the growth of the practice.

- Manage complex construction law matters and disputes across Australia, including litigation, arbitration, expert determinations, and adjudications.
- Advise clients on contractual and risk matters in large-scale construction and infrastructure projects, including property development, energy, and commercial projects.
- Conduct legal research and prepare high-quality written advice, correspondence, and submissions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and service delivery.
- Collaborate with partners and clients on high-value projects, providing strategic guidance and dispute resolution advice.
- At least 2 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in construction law, with exposure to front-end and/or back-end matters.
- Outstanding academic record.
- Genuine interest in building a career in construction law, particularly in back-end litigation and dispute resolution.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a high-pressure team environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
