Addisons is seeking a Property Solicitor on a full time, permanent basis to join our leading Commercial Property practice. The practice has been recognised by Doyle’s Guide 2024 in the Leading Property & Real Estate Law Firm category for NSW.
You will provide high-quality commercially focussed legal advice and work on mainstream commercial property matters including acquisitions and disposals within the commercial, industrial and agricultural sectors, as well as acting and advising on leasing transactions including within the commercial and retail space for both landlords and tenants.
You will gain invaluable experience by working closely alongside highly skilled Partners and experienced senior lawyers who are passionate about their work. As part of your ongoing development, you will be exposed to a range of interesting matters and sophisticated clients, and at the same time, learn about the businesses and industries in which they operate. You will also have opportunity to collaborate with other practice areas (such as Mergers & Acquisitions, Banking & Finance, Environment & Planning, and Construction) in more complex matters and transactions.

- Draft, review and negotiate contracts of sale for commercial, agricultural and residential transactions
- Conduct due diligence for property acquisitions and sales
- Advise clients on legal aspects of commercial real estate transactions
- Draft, review and negotiate leases and other related documentation for commercial, industrial and retail sectors
- Advise clients on legal aspects of leasing transactions
- Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of property transactions
- 1-2 years’ post admission experience gained within top-tier or mid-tier firm
- A proactive, curious and energetic approach
- A drive for excellence in the law and a genuine desire to learn and build a legal career in a growing commercial property practice
- Excellent communication, research and analytical skills and a steadfast attention to the detail
- Initiative and drive to take ownership of your own matters and client portfolios
- Ability to juggle competing priorities, high volume work and work to deadlines
