David is a respected specialist in private equity and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He supports leading international private equity firms, advising on every stage of a private equity transaction cycle, including fund formation, sponsor team equity and carry arrangements to acquisitions, and portfolio company exits.

His M&A practice includes particular experience in advising offshore investors on foreign direct investment, including Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) and regulatory requirements.

He is ranked by peers and clients as a leader in private equity, venture capital, commercial and corporate law, and M&A.

In nearly 30 years of practice as a corporate lawyer, David has built a strong track record of maintaining longstanding relationships with clients.
