Rita’s experience is in complex interjurisdictional acquisitions and disposals of commercial buildings, industrial warehouses, childcare assets, pubs, forestry assets, agricultural and residential land, structural advice for developers and property due diligence.

She has been involved in advising clients on all aspects of development work from site due diligence, negotiation of sales terms and acquisition documentation, title structuring, joint ventures and development agreements.

Rita has extensive leasing, subleasing and licensing experience (acting for both landlord and tenant) in the commercial, industrial, agricultural, transport and retail sectors, dealing with complex childcare, retail and commercial leasing matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Childcare operators

advised on the transaction documentation in relation to the acquisition and operation of a new childcare centre.

Developer

advised and acted on the acquisition of development sites in Redfern and Canberra for a student housing group.

Foreign company

advised and acted on the disposal of its multiple Sydney CBD assets under one transaction values at $500million.

Listed property developer

acted on the disposal of its 2.9-million-hectare cattle station in Western Australia for $315 million.

Microsoft

advised and acted on the acquisition and development of data centre sites in Australia under a range of delivery models.

SGX listed Wee Hur Group

advised on its acquisition of a $46.1 million site in Sydney’s Redfern, following its recent acquisition in Canberra.

Town Centre Development

advised on and prepared documentation in relation to the acquisition and structuring of a new town centre in Oran Park.
