I have significant legal experience in the construction and property industry. I regularly advise clients on various issues that can impact a project from pre-contract to post-completion. I have significant experience in drafting and negotiation of a range of construction contracts and associated documents including sub-contracts, consultancy agreements and guarantees for residential, commercial, retail, infrastructure and solar projects.
I have extensive experience in representing parties on construction disputes in Court proceedings and arbitration in relation to payment disputes, defects, delay and contamination claims. I also have experience with acting for claimants and respondents in the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Legislation in NSW, VIC and QLD.
I previously spent over 2 years working as a construction lawyer in the UK where I acted for principals, contractors and banks on a wide variety of projects.
AMP Capital — drafting and negotiating various construction documents for Marrickville Metro shopping centre, Macquarie shopping centre, 255 George Street, Sydney, 35 Collins Place, Melbourne and 600 Bourke Street, Melbourne.
Commercial & Industrial Property (CIP) — acting on behalf of CIP in arbitration proceedings against the Principal for unpaid variation and delay costs. Drafting subcontract agreements and consultancy agreements.
Council — acting on behalf of a Council in Supreme Court proceedings against a contractor in relation to a contractor’s claim for payment of costs incurred as a result of a latent condition.

Global renewable energy contractors — drafting and negotiating EPC and O&M contract documents.
Telecommunication Infrastructure Contractor — acting for a large telecommunication contractor in the recovery of unpaid claims under the Security of Payment Legislation in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland.
