Addisons was delighted to advise Anacacia Capital in its recent cornerstone investment in PUMP HAIRCARE.
PUMP HAIRCARE was founded by entrepreneur and hairdresser Natasha Jay, who set out to make salon quality haircare products available direct to consumers.
“Today, women want salon quality haircare products with the perfect balance of all-natural ingredients and product efficacy. In just three years, the business grew from a traditional start-up in my lounge room to a large logistics facility focused on delivering our wonderful customers premium products and service at great value.”Natasha Jay, Founder, PUMP HAIRCARE
Jay launched the business in 2017, selling a range of hair products aimed at hair volume and thickness, anti-frizz, curly styling and the like, and added a specialist natural skincare range.
The business reached a tipping point this year with COVID-19 accelerating its fast growing e-commerce sales, and it went looking for a strong investor that could help fund the growth and provide strategic support.
“Natasha has created a brand that has a clear purpose and is developing a strong following in Australia and overseas. In partnering with the management team, we believe this brand has the potential to be a premium household name.”Jeremy Samuel, founder, Anacacia Capital
The Addisons team included Partner Daniel Goldberg and Senior Associate, Ryan Doherty.
